Referrals that miss the 30-day status update will no longer be automatically deactivated.
Such referrals will remain Active and will be flagged with a "Status Past Due" status. The Receiving Side will be reminded once every 30 days to provide a status update, for a maximum of 24 months, at which point the referral will be canceled by the system if an update is not provided.
Please note that the initial status update required within 7 days after signing the contract is still strictly required, and failure to provide this initial status update will still result in the automatic deactivation of the referral.
